Thanks To The SAG-AFTRA Strike, We Know The Marvel Telltale Game Could Be!

Another comic book universe will receive an episodic game adaptation by Telltale.

Back in April 2015, the partnership between the two companies was announced, saying that Telltale‘s first Marvel game would launch in 2017. How did we learn that this game would be based on Guardians of the Galaxy?

ComicBookMovie found the Guardians of the Galaxy – The Video Game aka Blue Harvest name in the SAG-AFTRA list just next to the third season of The Walking Dead. The actors are on strike, and their list leaked Telltale‘s plans. Maybe it drops at the same time as the movie: in April 2017?

Why would there be voices recorded in advance if the game wasn’t in development? Telltale wouldn’t assign actors for no reason, and it’s rare to see a game in such an advanced state to be canned entirely.

In April of 2015, Telltale announced the developing of a game using the Marvel license, set to debut in the year 2017. Well it seems production is underway, and the identity of the game has revealed itself.
