Epic Games: „Lots” Of Unreal Engine 4 Games Are In Development For The Switch

The Nintendo Switch isn’t going to ignore the Unreal Engine 4.

Epic Games‘ Japanese territorial manager, Takayuki Kawasaki, had an interview with Japanese magazine Social VR Info, where he said lots of Unreal Engine 4 titles are going to come to the new Nintendo platform. Seeing how Epic Games owns this engine, we can believe Kawasaki’s comments, especially how the latest Unreal Engine 4 version came with graphical presets for the Switch, which are slightly lower details than what the PlayStation 4/Xbox One/PC trio has.

One such game that will utilise the new Unreal Engine is Dragon Quest XI, which is also coming to the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo 3DS. The Switch will arrive in March, and the Unreal Engine 4 has been confirmed as a partner since October (the same goes for the Unity engine, too). We’re waiting for new details.
