At least this game doesn’t want you to spend more money via microtransactions.
Guerrilla Games’ new title, Horizon Zero Dawn – which will also come with PlayStation 4 Pro-support – is not going to contain any microtransactions. This information was confirmed by the developers’ official Twitter account after a fan question.
It is a logical decision, as Horizon focuses solely on a single player experience, which means you will have to discover the world (mixing the future with the past) alone. Fair play to Guerrilla to be so open about this subject. After all, not even Sony talked about this topic! Don’t forget, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided also seemed to have microtransactions, which is a somewhat disappointing choice.
The new IP launches at the end of February exclusively on PlayStation 4.
We end this article with two videos. One of them is from the Taipei Game Show, and the other one compares the footage from E3 last year with the almost complete code. The newer build seems to look better, doesn’t it?
@hot40chef There will be no micro transactions in #HorizonZeroDawn
