We Can Race Again This Summer [VIDEO]

Codemasters is preparing a new game to be launched shortly – no, this isn’t going to be Formula-1!

Back in 2014 (!), the British team already teased DiRT 4, but instead, they launched DiRT Rally in late 2015 on PC followed by the console release last Spring on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One – it easily had the better of its rivals regarding quality.

Codies is returning to the numbered installments, and with DiRT 4, they have a lot of chance to release the best rally game this year. Over 50 cars will wait for us to drive them on off-road tracks, located in five countries: Australia, Spain, Michigan (USA), Sweden, and Wales.

DiRT 4 picked up a license as well: it’s going to be the official game of the FIA Rallycross World Championship as well! Montalergre, Lohéac Bretagne, Hell (ok…), Holjes and Lyden Hill also get introduced, and we can drive around these places in multiple categories.

In the Landrush mode, we can race around short dirt tracks in California, Nevada, and Mexico, Joyride returns with its open events, and the career mode also received some overhaul. There will be monthly, weekly, and even daily challenges, as well as „a next-generation” Racenet online service for the game. We saved the best for the last: the Your Stage mode – you can create „near infinite” amounts of tracks yourself!

DiRT 4, which will also offer tuning and an improved damage system, will launch on June 9 (!) on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. More images here.
