E3 Opens Up To The Public, But At What Cost?

You could be one of the 15,000 lucky entrants!

Electronic Software Association announced on Twitter that for the first time in E3‘s history, the event will open up to the public.

What this announcement means is that you don’t have to be a journalist or work in the media to enter the Convention Center in Los Angeles. However, you’d have to fork out a hefty sum of money for a ticket: the first 1000 tickets will cost 150 dollars, and the remaining 14000 will be 250. You’ll be able to get one from E3’s website starting February 13, Monday. If you’re from Europe, expect to spend even more on airplane tickets, though!

Despite opening up, E3 will still have „a central media and business component” with a dedicated entrance, meaning the journalist will still see more than „regular” attendees.

E3 2017 will be held between June 13 and June 15.
