Ex-Tales Producer Is Working On A New RPG

The new project is called Project Prelude Rune.

Square Enix announced that the new, Tokyo-based studio, called Studio Istolia, is led by ex-Tales producer Hideo Baba, and it’s already working on Project Prelude Rune.

Quoting Square Enix’s synopsis, „The project aims to build a new RPG with a new fantasy: unfolding across a vast land teeming with life. Nurtured by the earth, the many peoples of this land dare to dream, fighting for what is just—and this is their tale.”

Studio Istolia (the word means story in Greek) is looking for multiple employees to create the project – you can apply on their website. We don’t know when will this game arrive (nor the target platforms), but seeing Hideo Baba‘s previous resume, the first signs are promising.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
