Capcom: All Games Below Expectations!

Capcom flopped with all their expectations.

The NeoGAF forums pointed at Capcom’s latest results, which mention how their games have sold in the past few weeks, months.

The numbers are from this site: Resident Evil 7: 3.5 million, Monster Hunter XX: 1.7 million, Dead Rising 4: under a million (!) – while Capcom is fine with Resident Evil 7 and Monster Hunter just barely missing their target, Monster Hunter Stories and Dead Rising 4 flopped. In fact, Frank West‘s two million-goal was missed big time – Capcom Vancouver took the original Dead Rising gameplay and made it basic and not-so-challenging…

Despite Capcom banging its chest with the Resident Evil ports (4, 5, 6, and yes, they are ports, not remasters…) and the Monster Hunter pachinko, those are not new games or something aimed at us.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
