Steel Wool Studios’ game is treading new waters. What a brave idea!
It’s amazing to see how fast the devs have moved: the announcement happened just recently, the website is already up and running, and Betrayal at Calth is also put up to Steam’s Early Access as well. The devs want to take the original Games Workshop tabletop experience and recreate it in virtual reality (supporting both the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive) with a first-person perspective, as expected.
It’s going to have a single player campaign with twenty-four missions, all using the Horus Heresy lore, and then, you can go online with your army to be the best strategist.
There’s no release date yet – Steam only lists „Early Access 2017” at the moment.
