God of War PS4 presents high doses of “blood and gore”

Your age rating has been filtered in the United States.

Being a saga that has always been characterized by its high doses of violence, it should not be surprising that the promising God of War of PS4 is an especially violent action game, and this is ratified by the United States’ age rating system, ESRB by its acronym in English, as long as the information filtered in the last hours is true.

“The combat is frequent and often bloody, with characters hitting and kicking others repeatedly, using swords to cut and impale enemies,” reads the video game description. It also mentions large enemies and bosses who, likewise, Kratos dispatches in “more sequences of violence.”

There are other details that some might consider spoilers, such as the type of weapons to which the protagonist of this action adventure has access. Specifically speaking of axes, swords and a pair of blades with chains that, by the description, resemble the Blades of Chaos that we used in the previous episodes of the franchise.

During the fight, always attending to this leaked information that has been removed from the ESRB website, Kratos will face ogres, dragons, gods, skeletons and demigods. It is striking the absence of sex in this description because this kind of scenes has also been common in the series God of War.
