The new Final Fantasy XV DLC delves into the history of Eos

Hajime Tabata promises “completely new gaming experiences”.

In a recent interview with Game Informer, the director of Final Fantasy XV has declared that the new additional content that will receive this adventure of action and role will deepen in the history of Eos, the world where the odyssey of Noctis takes place, without forgetting of course other characters with importance in the plot.

“The most important thing is that we want to launch DLC that is related to the main story of the game and also have a strong influence on it,” says Hajime Tabata, who seems to get away from the stories other than the main plot of the video game. Without providing many more details, the Square Enix creative does anticipate that these additional contents will offer “a completely new gaming experience.”

Another interesting detail is that the team after FF XV had no plans to create more DLC for the game but, given the opinions of the fans, decided to work on one more year of additional content.

Recently GameSpot interviewed Hajime Tabata and when asked about these DLC, the Japanese creative assured that at this moment they are finalizing the history of these additional chapters. Who will be its protagonists? The director of Final Fantasy XV does not go into details, but it makes it clear that although some of these contents are related to what fans expect, he also believes that “there will be some surprises”.
