WipEout Omega Collection Will Get Its VR Treatment Shortly

Futuristic racing in virtual reality? It’s going to happen… eventually!

Did you forget about the 2017 PlayStation Experience announcement? Back in December, Sony announced that the three games moved and remade from PlayStation 1 to PlayStation 4 would be getting a VR update in 2018.

Since then, over three and a half months have passed, and Sony XDev Europe got a short, but to-the-point question: what about the VR mode in WipEout Omega Collection? Sony’s answer on Twitter was „It’s great, and you’ll see for yourself very shortly.” So, they didn’t forget about it, and the patch would arrive in the next weeks, or maybe even days.

However, when will it show up? Will they announce the patch release date this week, and make us wait a few more weeks? We’ll find out.
