Ubisoft‘s next major title is discussed in several ways.

We’d start with a SPOILER part. Similarly to Far Cry 4, 5 also has a „secret” ending, which doesn’t require twenty-five hours to get (that’s the time Ubisoft said it’d take us to beat the game): there’s a decision early in the game, which could trigger the credits prematurely. We’d not like to go more into detail with this subject, watch the video at your risk:

Regarding pre-load dates, you can already do so on PC and Xbox One, but PlayStation 4 owners will have to wait until March 25, midnight, local time, which means you’ll have to download the game a day before it drops. (The PS4 got a little unlucky here.)

Alex Monney, a Ubisoft PR representative, published a GIF on Twitter, where he confirmed that Boomer, our dog, can be revived all the time by just simply rubbing his belly. That’s an interesting move by Ubisoft, but it’ll help the beginners, though. (Fallout 4 did something similar after the players requested it…)

Another SPOILER paragraph, referring to real-life events: allegedly, Donald Trump, the current president of the United States, ordered Russian prostitutes, to urinate on the previous president’s, Barack Obama’s and his wife, Michelle Obama’s bed in a Moscow hotel, Ritz Carlton. Ubisoft took cues and implemented it in the game: in the Patriot Acts mission, Trump isn’t named (he’s referred to as Big Man), but there are several obvious hints at the president. Our task in this mission is to acquire a tape. Only watch this video at your risk once again:

And finally, 25 minutes of gameplay. Far Cry 5 will launch on March 27 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
