Polyphony Digital and Sony Interactive Entertainment teamed up with Audi.

They uploaded a teaser trailer for a new Vision Gran Turismo car. This project has car manufacturers around the world design concept cars for Gran Turismo, mostly focusing on futuristic ideas, allowing the designers to have complete freedom. We’re embedding an example – the SRT Tomahawk X VGT by Fiat Chrysler is madness: 749 kg weight, 2168 horsepower, and it’s so ridiculously fast that it can have a lap around Nordschleife completed in less than three and a half minutes with top speeds over 620 km/h! We’re not joking, have a look for yourself:

Audi is working on a car at the moment, and Kazunori Yamauchi, the father of Gran Turismo, touted it as „the start of something completely new.” If the German designers come up with a crazier design than the SRT Tomahawk X, we’re going to be amazed! The car will be revealed on April 9, so we might come back to it on Tuesday.
