The revelation was made during the very day of the match between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona!

Although Konami doesn’t seem to cater towards the console/PC market nowadays (Metal Gear Survive looks like a one-time exception…), but they do release Pro Evolution Soccer each year. 2018 is no exception: Konami announced that they would adequately reveal the game (which also showed up on the Hong Kong PlayStation Store for a while) possibly during the game.

They published a short video on Twitter,  and Facebook.

It’s going to be interesting to see what Konami puts together for PES 2019, as they recently lost the Champions League-license, and frankly, Pro Evolution Soccer’s weak point was always the lack of licenses. It won’t change this year, it seems.
