Capcom will reissue its 32-bit classic 20 years later. Leon and Claire return.
Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield will return to Raccoon City next year: after the confirmation of Resident Evil 2 Remake more than three years ago by its producer, Yoshiaki Hirabayashi, Capcom has shown at the Sony conference of E3 2018 the highly anticipated reinterpretation from the legendary Capcom video game of 1998, which has been remodeled from scratch with the RE Engine graphic engine owned by Capcom.
The definitive name of the game will be Resident Evil 2 , with no mention of the remake. After the presentation of its spectacular trailer, in which none of the main protagonists of the legendary survival horror adventure have been missing, Capcom has confirmed that the video game will be released on PS4, Xbox One and PC on January 25, 2019.
“Resident Evil 2 offers a version of the classic survival horror saga with an incredibly realistic visual section, a pulsating immersive audio, a new camera view over the shoulder and modernized controls in addition to the game modes of the original game”, they point out their creators.
The trailer has not saved in gore, showing some of the bloodiest moments of the classic video game.
