[E3 2018] Nioh 2: Maybe We Don’t Have To Wait A Decade! [VIDEO]

Nioh was a successful game on PlayStation 4, then on PC. The action-RPG offered a small slice of Japanese history in style, and now, a sequel is in development.

Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja announced during Sony’s E3 conference that Nioh 2 is coming to PlayStation 4. Unfortunately, we don’t know much about it, as all we have seen was an announcement video – the development is likely in an early state, which means we might not see gameplay of it this year unless it gets presented to us at Tokyo Game Show or maybe PlayStation Experience. (Or, perhaps the Paris Games Week…?)

As we can only guess at the moment, we can’t add much more – there is quite a lot of events in the history of Japan; the first Nioh, or, as we like to call it, the „Japanese Souls,” was set in the early 17th century, and the sequel could propel us there once again. In it, our character is seemingly able to transform into a demon. That could change a thing or two.

Let’s take a look at the trailer:

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
