The team of Xaviant revealed the sequel to their 2016 battle royale game, which will release in a couple of hours.

Battle royale games are very popular right now and it looks like The Culling II wants to join the big ones, like Fortnite and PUBG. The first The Culling was quite successful on Steam, but only financially – it got rather negative reviews on Steam from users.

Of course, now I could say that the question is will The Culling II improve upon its predecessor and fix its problems, but based on the announcement trailer linked above, this is quite unlikely. It looks like another generic asset-flip, a game strictly made to earn some quick cash. It’s very bland and unpolished and it looks like no one really likes it either – there are tons of dislikes on the video.

Anyway, if you still want to give it a try, you can in a couple of hours – The Culling II will release today on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
