MOVIE NEWS – If Castlevania was capable of making a move from the games to Netflix, why couldn’t Sony’s IP do the same?

Regarding Castlevania, we wrote today when its second season would start. Thus, it’s no wonder if people ask if God of War could get a series, or if Sony, Netflix, or anyone else related to the franchise have ideas for it or not.

Cory Barlog, the director of the PlayStation 4-exclusive God of War (which launched in April), denied the rumours (Jason Momoa as Kratos in a potential TV series) on Twitter, but then he asked: „I wonder if we should do something about that Netflix?” It’s an offer for Netflix: this question means Barlog is open about „borrowing” Kratos to Netflix.

We wouldn’t be surprised if God of War would also get something, especially how even The Witcher has a series in development. If there’s enough demand for it (and we believe there is), what would hold Sony and Netflix back?
