MOVIE NEWS – The popular actor died from complications due to leukemia. It was announced at Comic Con 2018 that he will make a quest appearance in the ninth season of ” The Walking Dead. ”

Scott Wilson, an actor who gained international recognition for his role as Hershel Greene in the series ” The Walking Dead, ” died at 76 years of age of an alleged complication of leukemia, the portal Variety reported.

Through a tweet, the page of the popular series published a tribute to the actor: “We are deeply saddened to report that Scott Wilson, the incredible actor who played Hershel in #TheWalkingDead, died at the age of 76. Our thoughts are with your family and friends, rest in paradise, Scott, we love you! ”

With more than 50 films to his credit, Scott began his career in 1967 in the film “In the Heat of the Night”.

Scott Wilson was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor for playing Captain Billy Capshaw in “The Ninth Configuration” (1980), but he is best known for his performance in AMC’s popular zombie series until the fourth season.
