MOVIE NEWS – Freddie Mercury‘s story will be shown in ScreenX cinemas, offering an immersive experience for the viewers via a 270° display.
Freddie Mercury, who has passed away a long time ago, might be familiar for you if you know Queen: he was the singer. Bohemian Rapsody will be the cinematic adaptation of his story, and it will be the second ScreenX-supported movie for 20th Century Fox after Kingsman: The Golden Circle. ScreenX isn’t a widely known format: only 164 auditoriums are present worldwide, which, despite the 30% year-on-year increase, isn’t a lot, although there are plans to expand towards China, Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, France, Turkey, and the Middle East in the upcoming months.
Bohemian Rapsody will premiere in the Wembley Arena on October 23, followed by the United Kingdom premiere on October 24 and the United States debut on November 2, respectively.
