Telltale Goes Into Liquidation; Games Are Getting Delisted On Steam!

Telltale Games is a single step away from completely going out of business.

GameDaily reports that Sherwood Partners is handling Telltale‘s liquidation – anyone who has a claim on Telltale can contact Sherwood with the relevant, necessary documents until April 9, 2019. The website also got a copy of a document signed by Pete Hawley, the CEO of Telltale – in it; we can read that the health benefits of the ex-employees will end on November 30.

A few games by Telltale have been delisted from Steam – Back to the Future or Tales of Monkey Island isn’t for sale anymore. If you already have it, you can play it, but if you don’t, you are out of luck, unless you get them from GOG. The popular games, such as Batman, The Walking Dead, Guardians of the Galaxy or Minecraft: Story Mode, are still available for purchase…

…but who knows for how long?

Anikó, our news editor and communication manager, is more interested in the business side of the gaming industry. She worked at banks, and she has a vast knowledge of business life. Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
