Luke „MrDeadMoth” Murday was caught in the news negatively in December (deservedly), but he only backed up back then…
At the end of the year, we wrote about how during a live stream (although not seen on camera), he attacked his wife, and the children saw the event. Back then, MrDeadMoth deactivated his profile, but it was reactivated last week – of course, social media users did not take it lightly. While he has to go to court this month on a common assault charge, he should think about a few things until it happens…
…for example, why did he think restarting Twitch activities was a good idea. In the site’s rules, we see that violent acts are „considered zero-tolerance violations and all accounts associated with such activities will be indefinitely suspended.” On Twitter, a lot of users were mad at Twitch for allowing him to stream again after his actions, which should have been enough for a ban.
We don’t know if the Twitch ban is permanent yet – the site sent a statement to Kotaku: „Protecting the integrity of our community is incredibly important to us. We want everyone on Twitch to have a safe and positive experience and work constantly toward that goal. Part of that work includes examining our policies and practices when we find they don’t properly address specific incidents to ensure we’re adapting as the Twitch community grows.”
MrDeadMoth‘s Twitter account is still available, but his YouTube channel isn’t. Perhaps he shouldn’t come back once more…

It’s so great as a survivor of domestic abuse & content creator to see a streamer that beat the shit out of his wife while streaming still alive and well on @Twitch with 7000+ follows & affiliation. Way to send the right message ?
