Doom: Eternal Soundtrack Strengthens With Heavy Metal Choir! [VIDEO]

Mick Gordon, the composer of Killer Instinct, Wolfenstein: The New Order, and 2016’s DOOM’s soundtrack, wants to take another step.

Gordon is recruiting people „for a video game” to scream in heavy metal genre – those who want to apply have to be over eighteen years old and should be available for recording in Austin, Texas in the United States in the first week of March.

Although Gordon did not say what game he wants to create a heavy metal choir for, it’s unlikely to be something else than Doom: Eternal, the direct sequel to 2016’s DOOM reboot. You can apply until February 1 by sending a demo via Gordon’s website. If you get hired, you will get paid for your screaming work.

Doom: Eternal, which will use id Tech 7 has no exact release date yet – it is in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and the FPS (which should launch in 2019) will have more of a lean into heavy metal with its soundtrack than its predecessor.
