After the first The Last of Us, the sequel will have a much more serious user interface – DualShockers have figured this out from an unexpected video.
So, the first The Last of Us had an emphasis on us crafting and upgrading our weapons. Well, Naughty Dog isn’t going to ignore this factor of the gameplay in the sequel, as there are a few details that leaked out from a Women’s Day (!!!) video that has the user interface sneakily shown in the background. The Reddit users discussed more things. You can see the following screencap – with some zooming – at 37 seconds:
There’s the UPGRADE word clearly visible in the background, and unfortunately, we don’t see many more details, as the text is way too blurry to read due to the quality. No matter how we look at it, it is a significant difference from what we have seen in the first The Last of Us when we got to the workbench:
We can expect Naughty Dog to allow us to increase our rate of fire or capacity for our weapons by finding and using items from the environment in this PlayStation 4-exclusive that has no official release date announced yet (but The Last of Us Part II has been rumoured to come in October, and it might come „very soon”).
