Electronic Arts‘ subscription service, EA Access is now available on PlayStation 4 after the Xbox One and PC (the latter has it as Origin Access or Origin Access Premier).
You can either get a monthly or an annual subscription. The monthly price is 5 USD/4 EUR, while the annual cost is 30 USD/25 EUR. (GBP pricing is 4 and 20, respectively.) With EA Access, you can try some games before they launch, and if you buy them, you can continue your save file. Also, there’s the Vault, which contains older Electronic Arts titles that you can download and play. There aren’t as many games on PlayStation 4 as on Xbox One, as the latter console has Xbox 360 titles due to its backwards compatibility. There’s also a 10% discount on the games’ price, too!
Here is the complete list of EA Access’ Vault titles on PlayStation 4: A Way Out, Battlefield 1, Battlefield 4, Battlefield V, Battlefield Hardline, Burnout Paradise Remastered, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Fe, FIFA 15, FIFA 16, FIFA 17, FIFA 18, FIFA 19, Madden NFL 15, Madden NFL 16, Madden NFL 17, Madden NFL 18, Madden NFL 19, Madden NFL 25, Mass Effect: Andromeda, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, NBA Live 15, NBA Live 16, NBA Live 18, NBA Live 19, Need for Speed, Need for Speed Payback, Need for Speed Rivals, NHL 16, NHL 17, NHL 18, NHL 19, Peggle 2, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, Rory McIlroy PGA Tour, The Sims 4, Star Wars Battlefront, Star Wars Battlefront 2, Titanfall 2, UFC, UFC 2, UFC 3, Unravel, Unravel Two.
Although they are mostly sports games, there are some enjoyable titles (the two Unravel games are indie beauties, and Titanfall 2 might have sold badly, it was a great title in its time). For 5 dollars, you can finish many of them off in a month. That sounds like a good deal, doesn’t it?
