StarCraft and Its Future Go through a bad time

A delicate moment for the Blizzard series, which was speculated on the cancellation of a new FPS.

Bad news for fans of the Starcraft franchise: it does not enter into the future plans of Activision Blizzard. According to the latest documents presented in Activision’s latest financial report, the firm’s objective is to “create and support content for series such as Call of Duty, Candy Crush, Warcraft, HearthStone, Overwatch and Diablo. A particular list, as you remember the journalist Jason Schreier, is not usual in the signature documents.

“They have never printed a specific list like the one they made today for each franchise they plan to actively develop in the future,” he explained, “it is also the first report since the Starcraft game that was in development was cancelled. Starcraft was not dead. before, but now it is. ” A few months ago there was speculation about the cancellation of a Starcraft FPS to focus Blizzard’s efforts on the development of Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2.

The last release of Starcraft was its remastering, launched in mid-August 2017.
