Cooperative action and mining dwarfs in space: Deep Rock Galactic has a release date [VIDEO]

The video game proposes us to cooperate with four friends on PC and Xbox One to make us extremely rich.

After enjoying notable success during its early access on Steam and Xbox , registering more than a million copies sold, the cooperative action video game Deep Rock Galactic has released its release date and price on both platforms. It will be next May 13 when PC players and the Microsoft console can enjoy the full version of this space adventure starring a group of mining dwarves facing all kinds of challenges.

“When we started developing Deep Rock Galactic 4 years ago , none of us at Ghost Ship Games had imagined the game as it is today,” said the head of the study, Soren Lundgaard. “While many of the core features have evolved and work as expected, there are also whole sections of the game we didn’t dream about , and that is largely due to our community,” adds the creative. “Our approach has always been cooperative first, so creating something that really requires teamwork meant that we needed to unite with the community.”

“We want to thank our players for their support and comments after four years, we are incredibly excited to officially launch,” continues the creative in his message, confirming that this space adventure will be priced at $ 29.99 / $ on Steam, Xbox One and Microsoft Store. Proposal? Deep Rock Galactic takes us to the planet Hoxxes IV to extract, with a pickaxe, but also with a clean cannon shot, the rich minerals found in it. There are four classes of dwarves with their own unique equipment and abilities, so cooperation is essential to survive threats.

The PC and Xbox video game will debut with two cosmetic DLCs featuring new armor sets, weapon skins, and the official Deep Rock Galactic soundtrack, featuring nearly 50 minutes of synthesized music “in the style of space dwarfs.” So that the adventure does not fall into the repetitive, its scenarios are generated procedurally, so each new foray will face new challenges. And if your thing is to play as a team with friends, we recommend this list with some of the best games with local cooperative.
