Prince of Persia 6 Domain Registered by Ubisoft

A domain appears that has raised suspicions about the development of the game.

The Prince of Persia saga is one of the great ones forgotten by Ubisoft. The last thing we saw of her was an escape room called The Dagger of Time. It was a VR experience that invited us to escape, as its name suggests, from the Fortress of Time.

However, last night alarms went off after appearing on Reddit, a post by user NayamAmarshe . In it, it is indicated that a domain registered on the web whois.gandi.net has appeared with the name “princeofpersia6.com”. Initially, it was thought that it was Ubisoft who carried out this procedure, since everything indicated that this was the case.

If we think that El Alma del Guerrero was the second installment, Las Dos Coronas was the third, Classic was the fourth game, and the fifth was Las Arenas Olvidadas , everything fits for another great title to exist from Prince of Persia to come in sixth place. In addition, according to the author of the publication, there have already been domains previously created similar to this one , and the Ubisoft server is listed in the registry.

However, there are two factors that point to everything being false . First of all, the name that appears as the author of the registration is godaddy, instead of Gandi SAS, which is the usual name of Ubisoft. An update also appears indicating that the status of this domain is ClientHold, indicating that it has not yet been paid .

Also, remember that it is a very common practice to register domains for the simple fact of not losing intellectual property, it does not have to be related to the development of a game, although this could be happening in parallel .

In any case, Ubisoft has a lot to show us yet. All eyes are on the next Microsoft event , to be held on May 7. In it, we will see the new Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in action , a game that has captured the public’s attention since it was announced last week.
