In storage disk, although it is not said as strictly necessary, in their minimum system requirements the Bloober Team emphasizes that it is recommended to play on a PC equipped with an SSD drive .
„We hope that more players can enjoy the video game”
“Although our goal is to offer a truly unique experience with a double reality gameplay, where we show two different worlds simultaneously, we hope that a large number of players can enjoy the video game as possible,” explains the developer team of the psychedelic Layers of Fear. “Because we put a lot of energy into the game’s music and sound design [created by Akira Yamaoka, composer of Silent Hill, and Arkadiusz Reikowski], we also recommend playing with headphones on to ensure the best possible experience,” they add.
The Medium is one of the productions announced in recent months that has best represented on screen the importance of SSD drives in the future of the industry, emphasizing not only the absence of load times throughout the game, but also in being able to completely render two different worlds at the same time as explained in a new and extensive video gameplay.
The Medium is expected to be an Xbox Series X launch video game, coming to both PC and console later this year.
