Ghostwire: Tokyo is the new project of Shinji Mikami, creator of Resident Evil and one of the greatest masters of horror in the world of video games. Behind him he also has other games such as Shadows of the Damned or The Evil Within saga.

The Japanese creative has taken advantage of the QuakeCon framework to publish a video in which he reveals new details about Ghostwire: Tokyo, his next work that will come out on PS5 and PC, and that was already shown during the State of Play presentation of the first next generation games from the Sony console.

Mikami has taken advantage of the frame of the event in which Bethesda is revealing details of its next games to announce an important addition in its next adventure. One of those aspects that are probably a reason for instant purchase for many users: in Ghostwire: Tokyo we can pet dogs. This has been confirmed by the creative himself in a one-minute video, in which he begins by calling himself a “living fossil of video games.”

Ghostwire: Tokyo will arrive on a date to be determined in 2021. The adventure, in addition to being able to pet dogs, will offer first-person action in an enclave where oriental-style horror prevails, with disturbing and confusing situations as we saw in the gameplay trailer to present the game.
