Biomutant: The Official System Requirements For Experiment 101’s Game Are Here

The Swedish team’s game has been kept behind closed doors for a long time, but as the release date is getting closer, THQ Nordic and Embracer Group will slowly have to talk more about Biomutant.

It finally has a release date, and it was about time to see that, as we remember a German advertisement in a newspaper for Biomutant (a kung-fu RPG fable, according to the official blurb) with a 2019 release window. Let’s see the game’s Steam page that now has the official system requirements.

Minimum system requirements:

  • A 64-bit processor and operating system are required
  • Operating system: Windows 7, 8.1 or 10 x64
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-4690K or AMD FX-8350, or newer running at 3.5 GHz or higher
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 or AMD Radeon R9 380 with 4 GB VRAM, or better
  • DirectX: DX11
  • Storage: 25 GB available space
  • Integrated or dedicated DirectX 9 compatible soundcard
  • Keyboard, mouse and an internet connection for Steam

Recommended system requirements:

  • A 64-bit processor and operating system are required
  • Operating system: Windows 0 x64
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-6700K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600, or newer running at 3.2 GHz or higher
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 590 with 6 GB VRAM, or better
  • DirectX: DX11
  • Storage: 25 GB available space
  • Integrated or dedicated DirectX 9 compatible soundcard
  • Keyboard, mouse and an internet connection for Steam

That doesn’t sound too shabby, but we have yet to see what Biomutant will offer. It is allegedly going to be a new take on third-person combat, using martial arts, the crafting is said to be next-level, the open world is meant to be vibrant, and there should be „an unusual story with an unusual end” as well. We’ll see. The game wasn’t shown in the past few months.

Biomutant will launch on May 25 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam).
