The next update will benefit mostly those who like sports games – the (Xbox) Game Pass service is warming up for the Spring.
Microsoft announced in a blog post what the monthly subscription service will receive shortly. Madden NFL 21 (on console – Xbox Series, Xbox One) is already available, but only for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, as it’s part of the EA Play line-up. On March 4, Football Manager 2021 (PC), Football Manager 2021 Xbox Edition (console, PC), and NBA 2K21 (cloud, console) will join the service. Later this month, Star Wars: Squadrons (console – EA Play, Ultimate subscribers only) will also be added, followed by NHL 21 (console – EA Play, Ultimate) in April Microsoft also reminds us that Cricket 19 (PC) and Elite Dangerous (cloud) are also part of the service.
DLCs have a few deals, too: until March 8, „Xbox Game Pass members can save 50% off “The Foundation” and “AWE” expansions or 35% off the Season Pass for Control,” „Xbox Game Pass members can save 10% and gear up for Operation 6 with the new Gears 5 “Operation 6” downloadable content bundle, which unlocks Hoffman, Queen Reyna, the Zealot, plus […] a fresh multiplayer map, renewed Tour of Duty and more,” and there’s also the free Minecraft: The Mountain adventure map.
The Xbox Game Pass (weekly) Quests now have 4x points. From March 9, you can get 200 points in Batman: Arkham Knight by defeating 50 thugs, and Battlefield 1 (available via EA Play) can also net you 200 points by being in the best squad one time. And don’t forget about the games that will leave the service on March 15. They are the following titles: Alvastia Chronicles (console, PC), Astrologaster (PC), Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night (console, PC), Kona (console), and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (console).
So many sports games. Expect a bigger update later this month.
