Quentin Tarantino Admits He Vowed Never to Give his Mom Any of his Fortune for This Reason

MOVIE NEWS – In a recent interview on the podcast ” The Moment with Brian Koppelman “, filmmaker Quentin Tarantino said he keeps a childhood promise against his mother.

During his conversation with Koppelman, Quentin Tarantino, the two-Oscar winner admitted that his mother was not a big fan of his career. As a young man, he constantly got into trouble with her for writing movie scripts instead of doing his homework.

Tarantino then mentioned an episode in which his mother, berating him for his poor school performance, told him that his writing career was over.

“When he said that to me in that sarcastic way, I thought, ‘Okay ma’am, when I become a successful writer, you will never see a penny of my success. There is no home for you. There is no vacation for you, nor Elvis Cadillac. for mom. You don’t get anything. Because you said that, ‘” Tarantino said on the podcast.

When asked by the podcast host if he kept his promise, the director of “Django Unchained” replied, “Yes. Yes. I helped her with a problem with the Internal Revenue Service. But no home. No Cadillac, no home. “.
