MOVIE NEWS –  Naughty Dog has finally released the first official photo from the set of HBO’s upcoming The Last of Us, showing Joel and Ellie.

Previously we wrote that Season 1 of Last of Us is well on its way, and production should be completed by next year in 2022. Neil Druckmann is even directing one or two episodes based on the previous reporting, and now we have the first official photo from the TV Show; check it out below:

That’s Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey looking into the distance at what seems to be a crashed airplane on a hill. Unfortunately, it is not too much and only shows the characters from the back, at least we know they will be in their authentic videogame look throughout the tv show.

The series is currently shooting in Alberta, Canada, and reportedly has a budget of “eight figures” per episode. Naughty Dog revealed the image yesterday to commemorate the franchise’s annual The Last of Us Day. Hopefully, more news will be coming relating to the TV show in the next couple of months, maybe more set photos or even a trailer.
