Chernobylite Releasing Today On Consoles

Chernobylite is a science fiction survival game that was created by The Farm 51, that takes place in the Exclusion Zone of Chernobyl, and it is finally releasing on consoles, but not all of them.

The game has been out since July on PC, and once again, The Farm 51 makers of Get Even have made a rather exciting story and even took brand new scans of the real-life Exclusion Zone in Ukraine. The story revolves around a scientist who thought his loved one perished in the Chernobyl catastrophe, but a photo of her, and a letter forces him to go back to the Zone after thirty years of the event, and at the same time, a new mysterious element has appeared within the Zone attracting all sorts of Stalkers, and mercenaries.

The console edition of Chernobylite will only be for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and unfortunately, next-gen console owners will have to wait a bit more to experience the game fully upgraded to their console. You’ll still be able to play on your next-gen consoles using backwards compatibility, but it will not feature any kind of enhancements.

An official release date for the next-gen version has not been revealed yet, but the developers have released a launch trailer for the PS4 and Xbox One version, which you can check out below.
