The First Episode Of The Arcane Animated Series Will Have The Option Of Co-Streaming On Twitch

MOVIE NEWS – The series about the universe of Runeterra will premiere on Netflix next Sunday, November 7, at 3 am.

Arcane, Riot’s first television series, will premiere on Sunday, November 7 at 3:00 am PDT on Netflix globally. Arcane is the first Netflix series whose premiere will feature the co-streaming option exclusively on Twitch. Content creators on the platform will be able to stream by watching and reacting to the first episode.

On Sunday, November 7, 2021, the world premiere will be the best time for fans across Europe, Russia and Turkey to experience Arcane together for the first time. In addition to the premiere at 03:00 CET, players will have the opportunity to watch a second broadcast on Twitch at 11:00 CET. Fans who connect to digital co-streaming on Twitch will receive drops of free content, exclusive items for Riot games.

In addition to watching the first episode on Twitch, gamers and fans worldwide will be able to experience the Global Premiere Event, which will be held at Riot’s headquarters in Los Angeles. Designed for audiences worldwide, the event will feature an innovative red carpet for press and streamers worldwide to connect with their communities.

The Global Premiere Event will be broadcast by streamers and influencers from more than 30 countries and will have the option of co-streaming so that fans can celebrate the premiere of Arcane with their communities.

In addition, fans who connect to digital co-streaming on Twitch will receive drops of free content, exclusive items for Riot games.

Brandon Miao, Head of Cross-Product Experiences and Collaborations for the Riot Games Experience Team, says:

“The interest of players around the world in creating more complex narratives has been essential for us to decide to make Arcane, so it is only fair that everyone can watch the first episode together as a community. In designing the event, we wanted to merge traditional entertainment with innovative digital approaches that make it easier for players worldwide to access and create something new that they can enjoy together. ”

Co-streaming is a popular form of entertainment that allows users to stream by adding their own comments to independent content. Co-streaming, which is visually similar to the type of format made up of a small screen within the main screen, offers the possibility for great celebrities to interact simultaneously with people from all over the world, which creates passionate communities thanks to the experiences they live together.

The series premiere will be the core of the largest global celebration for League of Legends gamers and IP lovers; it will unite the League of Legends World Cup 2021, which drew 49.45 million simultaneous viewers last year, Riot’s first television series. It will combine competition, entertainment and video games in a whole new way for Riot’s global player base.

Arcane‘s three acts, each with three episodes, will premiere simultaneously on Tencent Video, in China, and on Netflix worldwide so that all Riot players can experience the series together regardless of their location.

Based on the world of League of Legends, Arcane immerses himself in the delicate balance between the wealthy city of Piltover and the seedy underground district of Zaun. The people of Runeterra know it as the “city of progress”, and many of the brightest minds live here. However, the creation of hextech, how anyone can control magical energy, puts this balance at risk. Although Arcane tells the past of the League of Legends champions, the series has been created so that it can be independent, with a complex world full of moral decisions, incredible animation and a most exciting story.
