During its special Tudum conference, Netflix announced a release date for ‘Arcane’, the animated series based on the ‘League of Legends‘ video game universe. In addition to the release date, Netflix also released a trailer.

As far as the trailer is concerned, Arcane promises to be visually atypical, with its images appearing to be hand-painted. It will also be an opportunity to (re)discover the animation of the French studio Fortiche, which has gone to great lengths to pay tribute to its source material.

It should be noted that the studio has already produced several videos for League of Legends in the past. One example is the Popstars video of K-Pop KDA. A fictional group made up of heroines from the game. This video was able to reach 462 million views, raising awareness of the game among newcomers. The same was true for the Rise video, composed primarily for the 2018 League of Legends World Cup. It was also a big success with 280 million views. So the strategy is the same for Arcane.

To discover the series, you will have to wait until November 7th. Moreover, unlike most series on Netflix, it will be broadcast at a rate of 3 episodes per week. The first broadcast will be launched just a few hours after the 2021 League of Legends World Finals to mark the occasion.
