Little is known about Project Awakening what seeks to make the most of the latest advances in graphics engines
Another production is once again showing signs of life. After quite some time of silence, the Japanese development team at Cygames has been kind enough to share a new in-engine look at Project Awakening, an adventure game that we first heard about back in 2016 and which we now know is coming to PC, as well as PlayStation.
The shared video is barely a minute long. It serves to show those interested in the potential of the game’s graphics engine, with scenarios full of life and light that will possibly make the production’s release on PS4 very ambitious, where until now, Project Awakening was only confirmed for release. However, at the moment, this is all speculation, and we’ll have to wait for official news.
This glimpse was shared during a conference this weekend and shared by users on social networks, hence its low quality of comprehension.
Since 2016, Project Awakening has been shown a few times, most notably in 2018, when it released a trailer showing a knight facing a mighty dragon. Now comes this video, which makes clear Cygames’ interest in making the most of the latest technological advances. More mystery surrounds its gameplay, though it seems that Project Awakening aims to offer the user a fantasy action RPG set in a medieval world.
