WWE 2K22 to be released in March with Rey Mysterio as the star of the show is revealed in more footage

WWE 2K22 is going all out and is looking to take the wrestling victory by making the franchise shine once again. WWE and Take-Two took a break from the wrestling saga to adapt the gameplay and revamp its engine.

To put on the best show, Visual Concepts and 2K will respond to players with gameplay tweaks, a new animation system and new controls that, as the studio assured us, we’ll notice as soon as we touch the controller. The new visuals are on full display in this new trailer, which is titled ‘Booyaka’, in honour of Rey Mysterio, who will be the main protagonist, celebrating the fact that the Mexican wrestler has been giving the world a show for twenty years now with his jumps. But Rey isn’t the only one promising to thrill fans in WWE 2K22.

Of course, other big names who have hung up their guns in the past are not left out either, such as Undertaker, who has a very special place in this trailer as one of the “terrifying” mainstays. 2K’s work will be available  from March 11 on the following platforms: PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
