MOVIE NEWS – The Batman director Matt Reeves hints that his second spin-off series will be centred around Arkham Asylum.
After a long wait, tomorrow we will finally be able to enjoy The Batman in theatres, the DC film that will be a new reboot of the history of the Dark Knight, who is played on this occasion by Robert Pattinson.
Directed by Matt Reeves, The Batman movie takes place in Bruce Wayne’s early years as a Gotham vigilante. He will have to face many enemies, including the mysterious Riddler, whose development of a famous assassin inspired by his inspired father Matt Reeves in series.
Batman will uncover a deep web of corruption with apparent links to his family’s past during his investigations. The Dark Knight will have to make new allies in the Gotham underworld to progress in his work, thus meeting Selina Kyle, better known as Catwoman.

This will be the beginning of a new universe on both the big and small screens, with two spin-off series of The Batman by Matt Reeves already announced for HBO Max.
The first of them will be focused on the Penguin, who will be brought back to life by Colin Farrell, which will apparently serve as a sequel to the events in the film.
As for its second spin-off series, its plot is still a mystery, but its director has already dropped some exciting clues.
In a recent interview for the Toronto Sun, Matt Reeves spoke about the spin-off series of The Batman, confirming that one of them will be the Penguin and detailing that the other will be connected in some way with the Arkham Asylum.
“We’re doing the Penguin series, and we’re doing another series that connects to Arkham Asylum,” Reeves said. Although it is a vague description, this is the first time that any information about HBO Max’s second planned series has been officially revealed. It’s something.
On the other hand, Reeves also spoke about his plans for the sequel to The Batman. “We’re talking and thinking about the next movie, but to be honest with you, right now, I really want the audience to connect with this. And I really think they will because Rob is such an amazing Batman,” the filmmaker said.
