TECH NEWS – New features unveiled by NVIDIA make it easier to share materials, order libraries and implement AI.
NVIDIA has unveiled its new “real-time collaborative design platform for games and virtual worlds.” Omniverse promises to make it easier for developers to share materials with a platform for real-time design collaboration and simulation, whether they are using AI- and NVIDIA RTX-enabled devices or building custom assets.
New gaming features include updates to Omniverse Audio2Face, Omniverse Nucleus Cloud and Omniverse DeepSearch, as well as Omniverse plug-ins for Unreal Engine 5. “Omniverse provides a powerful solution for developers to meet the challenges of today’s world,” said Frank DeLise, vice president of operations.
“Its ability to unite artists, art, tools and applications under a single platform can inspire collaboration from even the most diverse game development organizations,” said DeLise.
Omniverse connects artists, their materials, and tools through a single platform to achieve this teamwork.
This collaboration aims to significantly speed up project development time through an open, multi-GPU platform, facilitating cooperation between 3D design and real-time physics simulation professionals. Omniverse runs on any RTX device and is based on Pixar’s Universal Scene Description (USD) system.
