Sean Bean’s Mr Wilford In Snowpiercer Season 3 Finale Photo

MOVIE NEWS – One step closer to New Eden? A few days before the final episode of season 3 of the post-apocalyptic sci-fi series Snowpiercer, Mr Wilford (Sean Bean) appears in an exclusive photo.

The series is based on the graphic novel series and the film from Oscar winner Bong Joon Ho (Parasite) produced by Tomorrow Studios and CJ Entertainment starring Jennifer Connelly (A Beautiful Mind) and Daveed Diggs (Hamilton, Black- ish).

What happened till now? At the end of Snowpiercer season 2, Layton (Daveed Diggs) and Ruth (Alison Wright) decided to take back Snowpiercer. With the help of Javier (Roberto Urbina) and Alexandra (Rowan Blanchard), Layton and Ruth managed to get back to the Snowpiercer, and Josie (Katie McGuiness) destroyed the Aquarium car, separating Snowpiercer’s head from the remaining cars.

In the third season, Layton and his inner circle set out in a ten-car “pirate train” and search for Melanie (Jennifer Connelly) to find a warm place where they have the chance to restart civilisation. While on Snowpiercer, Mr Wilford manages to gain his power back; thus, he is awaiting Layton’s return.

The third season is about to end, but according to the popularity, the series continues as TNT has already renewed Snowpiercer for a fourth season, which they announced last summer.

“Snowpiercer has been an incredibly successful series for us that continues to capture viewers’ imagination, grow audience and maintain strong ratings”.

“All of our seasons embark on an emotional, unexpected ride and the well-plotted storylines will continue to evolve and remain relevant to audiences. We’re excited to keep the train running into season 4.” – co-heads of original scripted programming for TBS, TNT and truTV Sam Linsky and Adrienne O’Riain said in a statement.

We can see the finale on TNT on Monday, March 28.
