The Dark Pictures: The Devil in Me – Jessie Buckley will play Kate Wilder; here is the new cover art!

The Dark Pictures: The Devil in Me will be the final chapter of the Bandai Namco horror series. Here is its new cover art featuring Jessie Buckley’s character.

In the wake of the Oscars hangover, the team at Supermassive Games yesterday announced the signing of Jessie Buckley to play Kate Wilder in The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me, the final chapter of the Bandai Namco-published horror anthology. In addition, the UK team has unveiled the cover art for the adventure.

The Irish-born artist was present at the last gala thanks to her nomination for Best Supporting Actress for The Lost Daughter. Now she lands in the video game industry for her first role, although the creators of Until Dawn have not yet revealed details about her character.

In this latest episode, at least of this first season, Supermassive Games offers players the chance to meet a documentary film crew who receive a mysterious invitation to visit the replica of the Murder Castle of H. H. Holmes, America’s first serial killer. “It won’t be long before they realise they’re being watched, and the number of viewers won’t be the only thing at stake”.

So far, there is no release date. There is for the next from its developers, The Quarry, recently unveiled as a harrowing cinematic tale, one where you take control of nine teenage monitors at the end of the last day of a summer camp in a story fraught with decisions and a cast full of film and TV actors.

Returning to The Dark Pictures Anthology, a few months ago, the registration of several trademarks and logos related to the horror mentioned above was also in the news.
