(Xbox) Game Pass: The First April Update

There is no month without Microsoft changing the line-up of the subscription service that pretty much everyone calls just Game Pass.

According to the Redmond-based company’s announcement, yesterday, Cricket 22 (console, meaning Xbox Series, Xbox One, and cloud; ID@Xbox, an indie title) and MLB The Show 22 (console, cloud – yes, one of Sony’s games is available here from day one!) are available. On April 7, Chinatown Detective Agency (console, PC, cloud, ID@Xbox), Dragon Age 2 (cloud – EA Play!), Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare (cloud – EA Play), and Star Wars: Squadrons (cloud – EA Play) will join the service, followed by Life is Strange: True Colors (console, PC, cloud),  Panzer Corps 2 (PC, ID@Xbox), and The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk (PC, ID@Xbox) on April 12 and Lost In Random (console, PC, cloud, ID@Xbox – EA Play) on April 14, respectively.

Microsoft reminds us of these titles already available on its service: A Memoir Blue (console, PC, cloud, ID@Xbox), Crusader Kings III (cloud, ID@Xbox), Kraken Academy!! (with two exclamation points; console, PC, cloud, ID@Xbox), Paradise Killer (console, PC, cloud, ID@Xbox), Super Mega Baseball 3 (PC, cloud – EA Play), and Tunic (console, PC, cloud, ID@Xbox). There are also DLC and content updates: Anvil: Vault Breakers Season One, Microsoft Flight Simulator: World Update 8, Minecraft Preview on PC Game Pass, and Sea of Thieves: Legends Week is up until April 11.

Via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, you can get thirty days of free Paramount+ (if you are a new subscriber; the Halo series can be found here). Via Marvel Unlimited, you get three months of access to 29K+ comics. In the console version of Black Desert, the O’dyllita bundle can be yours, and also in the console version of Apex Legends, the Endless Possibilities weapon charm awaits you. And finally, the games that leave the service: on April 15, MLB The Show 21 (console, cloud), Rain On Your Parade (console, PC, cloud), The Long Dark (console, PC, cloud), and Pathway (PC) leaves, followed by F1 2019 (console, PC, cloud) on April 18.

This update looks strong.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
