The beautiful world of Horizon Call of the Mountain action-adventure game has finally made its debut on Sony’s virtual reality platform.
Horizon Call of the Mountain promises nothing less than to push the boundaries of gameplay, innovation and hardware with a story told from the perspective of a new character in the franchise – but it also promises to reunite us with Aloy. The first gameplay trailer for the game was unveiled at the State of Play, giving us a glimpse into the neat visuals and new exploration of the gameplay experience on PSVR2.
We’ll be adventuring under the control of Ryas, a former Shadow Carja warrior, as he seeks redemption in the search for a new threat to Solminium.
As an expert climber and archer, you’ll even be able to climb nearly vertical mountains and duel mighty machines such as the Thunderer. The developers are trying to bring all the popular gameplay elements of Horizon Forbidden West to the VR adventure.
“Call of the Mountain will also offer an exciting, immersive River Ride experience. Take a seat and enjoy the gorgeous views of the world of Horizon, but look out; some uninvited machines may try to come aboard!” Sony shared on the PlayStation Blog.
During your PS VR2 adventure, you’ll also have the opportunity to share the story’s progress with friends, who will be able to follow the action on a connected monitor.
