Bandai Namco will distribute physical editions of No Man’s Sky.

A few days ago, the Switch version of the highly successful No Man’s Sky was finally revealed: it will be released in physical and digital formats on 7 October, developer Hello Games announced. A physical edition for PlayStation 5 will also be available on the same day. Physical editions will be distributed by Bandai Namco.

No Man’s Sky is a game about exploration and survival in an endless, procedurally generated universe.

As we all know, No Man’s Sky is inspired by a love of classic science fiction, a sense of adventure and imagination, and presents us with a galaxy to explore, full of unique planets and life forms and constant danger and action.

In the game, each star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by a planet teeming with life, and you can go to any one of them if you like. We can fly smoothly from deep space to the surface of the planets without loading screens or limits. In this infinite, procedurally generated universe, we can explore places and creatures that other players have never seen – and may never see again, adding a truly unique flavour to the adventure.
