Official information about its product has so far primarily been reduced to a repetition of the phrase “we’re working on it now”, but rumours about the game are coming in at a steady pace.

The latest Grand Theft Auto 6 rumours come from a report by Xfire, which cites Rockstar Games insider Matheusvictorbr.

This potential leak repeats information mentioned in previous leaks about the game. It seems that Grand Theft Auto 6 will feature two main characters, a man and a woman, and they will be siblings. This new leak adds that a drug cartel has killed the main characters’ parents, causing them to be separated; the brother will work for the DEA’s GTA 6 equivalent, while the daughter will become a prominent member of the cartel.

Xfire reports that GTA 6 will feature multiple settings. It confirms previous reports that Grand Theft Auto 6 will be set in Vice City but adds that the prologue will potentially take us to an area based in Brazil. He also claims that the game will also feature Carcer City, which may be familiar to Rockstar Games fans.

For the uninitiated, Carcer City is actually the location of the horror game Manhunt, so if this rumour is true, there seems to be a more extensive connection between GTA and Manhunt.

As for the gameplay, the latest leak of GTA 6 suggests that the game will feature destructible buildings and an army equipped with state-of-the-art weaponry. The report doesn’t go into much detail about the gameplay, but previous leaks suggest that Grand Theft Auto 6’s online map will evolve over time and will be compared to Fortnite. Previous reports have also suggested that GTA 6 will include jetpacks, although gameplay details are still unknown.
