Thanks to the PlayStation Plus app, even though you can play on PC, the situation is still bad. Either some games aren’t playable, or they’re missing by default!

The problems started after the PlayStation Plus switchover in Europe when it was reported that players who subscribed to the service were unable to play classic games via the PC app. At the time, we thought Sony would fix it and that we should be patient until they came to the issue. However, it’s been nearly a week, and the situation is still the same, if not worse.

You can see what’s wrong on Reddit. There are two main issues. First, PlayStation 4, PS2, and PS1 games are all marked as PS3, so those titles don’t launch, even though they should be. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Game of the Year Edition, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, many Jak & Daxter games, and all 13 PlayStation classics are unavailable. The other flaw is that the promised PlayStation Plus Extra and PlayStation Plus Premium games are missing from the app entirely, and the list that follows now doesn’t even include the mislabeled games. And Sony has yet to respond to the matter. Maybe they should.
