Official: Daredevil: Born Again Is Coming To Disney+, With Big Names Returning!

MOVIE NEWS – A new live-action Daredevil series is in the works at Disney+, with Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio confirmed for the lead roles.

The rumours are true: a new Daredevil series is coming to Disney+. Marvel dropped a lot of big news at San Diego Comic-Con, including further information about their big and small screen titles that will make up the fifth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This includes Daredevil: Born Again, a new series coming to Disney+ in spring 2024.

It has also been confirmed that the series will return the original series stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio to reprise their roles as Matt Murdock and Wilson “Kingpin” Fisk.

It has also been revealed that the series will consist of 18 episodes, which is three times as long as Marvel series are usually on Disney+. This shows a lot of confidence in Daredevil: Born Again, as it will keep the series on the streaming platform for a while.

Fans can see the new series as a continuation of the three-season Daredevil series previously streamed on Netflix. Both Cox and D’Onofrio have since reprised their roles in the MCU, though there has been speculation as to whether they are the multiverse versions or if they are the same Murdock and Fisk fans got to know in the Netflix series. D’Onofrio has since stated that he considers his return canonical to the previous series, officially tying the continuities together.

Daredevil: Born Again will arrive on Disney+ in spring 2024.

However, that doesn’t necessarily mean fans will have to wait that long for Matt Murdock’s return. It’s confirmed that he’ll also be appearing in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law after his appearance in the new trailer. Charlie Cox will also voice the character in the upcoming animated series Spider-Man: Freshman Year.
