Good News For Dead Space Fans: It’s Getting Easier To Play On Steam!

Dead Space removes one of Steam’s most annoying features for those who don’t like installed launchers.

Many of us don’t really like having to cram our machines full of startups. We prefer to concentrate everything on a single site, such as Steam. That’s what this news is all about, but in this case, it’s about one of the most anticipated games of 2023, Dead Space Remake. It’s supposedly something to do with EA removing the old Origin launcher and replacing it with its own app.

“Dead Space goes native on Steam”, EA.

As PC Gamer reported, if you buy Dead Space Remake on Steam, you’ll be happy to know that you don’t need to install Origin or EA’s app. However, an EA representative also confirmed this to the media, saying, “Dead Space will go native on Steam”.

Whether this is part of a change in strategy or a one-off decision is unknown, but in any case, it certainly appealed to many. However, this is not always an option, as the highly anticipated Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, for example, will require Origin or the EA app, as stated on the Steam product page. At the very least, it is recommended to have an EA Account to avoid any potential problems.

Dead Space Remake will be released on 27 January 2023 for PS5, Xbox X Series X/S and PC.

Recently, its requirements have been confirmed, which are not as low as expected. They also showed off the fantastic gameplay of the original, for which we’ve already seen some exciting and nostalgic comparisons.
